PRICING BENCHMARKS

This page serves as a frame of reference for you, when pricing your content strategy projects. Three notes: 

I believe in pricing transparency — especially for consultants, solopreneurs, and freelancers. We’re all hard at work building our own businesses. Sharing knowledge is the best way to ensure we can all do our best. And sharing our prices helps us stay competitive and understand our worth. 

I also believe in pricing based on value, not based on hours committed. These benchmarks are the balance I’ve found, personally, in pricing my offering based on the value I can provide a client. They may not work for you. I hope, at least, that they serve as a reference point when setting your own!

These ranges depend on a variety of factors. They include the turnaround time, how much work the client has already done in this arena, and (frankly) how high-maintenance I perceive the client to be.
